An LDA is short for a Legal Document Assistant. 


A Legal Document Assistant is a Bonded & Registered non-attorney professional who provides or assists in providing or offers to provide or offers to assist in providing, for compensation, any self-help service to a member of the public who is representing themselves in a legal matter.


Working with a Legal Document Assistant is a collaborative process.  Services are provided to those who know what documents they need to have prepared for their specific situation.


We are not attorneys. We are not a law firm. We cannot represent you in court or advise you of your legal rights or the law.

Our service includes the preparation and assembly of the documents requested.  Regular updates will be provided as your order progresses. 


Court filings and Service of Process are available for an additional fee. 


Professional legal document preparation will be provided at your specific direction. 


We charge a flat fee for most services.  After discussing with you what type of service you are requesting, a QUOTE will be provided.


Rates start at $75 and hourly rates may be applied if additional work is needed outside of what is included in the flat rate.


The rates for service vary depending on what is requested.


Yes. 


An LDA is registered and bonded with the county they work in. They provide document preparation services to self-represented individuals at the specific direction of that self-represented individual.  


A Paralegal can only work under the direct supervision of an active attorney. A Paralegal is not registered or bonded.  


(There are many Paralegals who are also registered & bonded as LDAs) 


No. An LDA is only allowed to help prepare legal documents at your specific direction. An LDA cannot provide legal advice or represent anyone in court.

 No. We do not guarantee the outcome of any case. Once you agree to the final draft of the documents requested, there is no refund for service.
