NEED HELP WITH YOUR LEGAL PAPERWORK?  HIRE AN LDA!

Are you representing yourself in a court or legal matter?

Do you have legal documents you must prepare and need assistance in getting them completed?

If you need DOCUMENT PREPARATION services, check out this informative video to see what a Legal Document Assistant (LDA) can do for you!

THE DOCUMENT PREPARATION PROCESS

STEP ONE - INTAKE FORM

To begin the Document Preparation process, the following INTAKE FORM needs to be completed to get your case started.

intake form

STEP TWO - INTAKE CALL/QUOTE

After completing the intake form, a FREE 10-minute phone call can be scheduled to briefly discuss your matter. This meeting is to gain clarity on what forms need to be prepared.

This appointment will determine if an LDA can provide you with the services you are requesting.

If more time is needed to discuss your matter and/or more self-help materials are needed to help in the proper selection of forms that you need to have drafted, a 30-minute phone meeting ($40) will need to be booked.

With this appointment, self-help materials relevant to your subject matter will be provided to help guide you through the process.

The $40 fee will be credited towards the document preparation services requested if an order is submitted within 5 days of this meeting.

AFTER THIS CALL, A QUOTE FOR SERVICE WILL BE PROVIDED.

IMPORTANT: If you are unclear on what direction you need to go with your matter, an LDA cannot give you any legal advice or legal opinions regarding your case.

STEP THREE - CONTRACT

After confirming what forms need to be prepared, a service contract will be drafted and sent to you.  The contract will lay out the fee for service and list the documents that will be prepared.

Once the contract is signed & payment for services is received, a questionnaire will be provided to gather the necessary information for the document preparation process to begin.

We will begin preparing your documents based on the information provided in the questionnaire and/or any additional supporting documentation that is provided.

24 hours is given to rescind or cancel the contract AFTER it is signed

STEP FOUR - FINAL DRAFT

Once the documents are prepared, drafts of the documents will be emailed to you for your review and approval. If no revisions are necessary, the final copies will be sent to you for your signature.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE US TO FILE YOUR PREPARED DOCUMENTS WITH THE COURT ON YOUR BEHALF, THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL FEE.
